In Bodeen, Texas, indie-rock loving misfit Bliss Cavendar (Ellen Page) finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin. Yep, this one takes place right here in our home town, and even features a scene at the Alamo Ritz! Not to mention the very tangible link to our favorite sport: ROLLERDERBY. If you're a proud Austinite and you're not planning on seeing this film, you better pack your things and head on outta town by sunset.
